Hello Powerful You

So a few days ago, I met a person who inspired me so much. I wanted to share this experience with my fellow readers. So I met a friend named Robert, he was so inspirational and had so many passions and goals just like me. He was inspired to change the world in the same ways that I am. He gave me this yellow bracelet that says LIVESTRONG. He had been wearing the exact same bracelets on both wrist for nearly 4 years. He says that he wears them to keep him going everyday and to stay motivated. After meeting him and telling him about my blog and my passion to change the world one girl at a time. We had a connection on a personal level. We connected by having high goals for our self worth and the worth of others. So after a few days of talking to him, I saw him again and he told me that he had a gift for me. Excited but nervous he pulled out a bracelet just like his. When giving it to me he said everytime you look at this, I want you to feel confident and beautiful. I plan to wear this bracelet until the day that it breaks because it has inspired me to be happy and confident about who I am. It inspired me to show others how worthy I am of myself. This bracelet may be a small incentive, but sometimes the small things can be so much bigger. Even if it is something that you have already, or something you put in your pocket. It could be anything, but everyone need that little incentive to keep them going. Whether it be a person, or an object everything can help. So after wearing the bracelet for almost 2 weeks, I have felt better about my self, and stronger in so many ways. After only meeting Robert only a few weeks ago he has impacted my life in so many ways. I feel the power to be who I am all because of something as small as a bracelet that says LIVESTRONG. So find that motivation in anything you can and keep pushing until you achieve the things you want. You are so much bigger than you believe.

Hello Powerful You,

Last night I was filling out an application for this club at my school and they were asking a lot of question based on what I would do if I could go back to my Freshman year. Of course I put I wish I was involved in more things and joined more clubs because you should always take every opportunity given to you. I wish i never gossiped about people and I know everyone does it, but I wish I stopped sooner. You should never gossip about people because you never know whats going on their life, maybe they are having a hard time with something and that is why they are being mean or look the way they do. You should always try to encourage people and make them a better person. Our society needs to be more focused on building people up instead of tearing them down. So be a good force and show people that they are

Hello Powerful You,

Sorry I have not posted in a little while. I have been busy getting the word out about us powerful people.

Today I want to talk about something that is a big topic today and that even leads me questions myself sometimes. The question is… Why do bad things happen to good people?

I would think about this on a daily basis why do kids who get drunk at high school parties still get rewarded. Why do people who have full scholarships to college, why are they allowed to go and do things they aren’t suppose to and never get in trouble. This is just an example.

But then I realized bad things happen to everyone, just in different way. Everyone has a bad experience and everyone has good experiences they just come in different ways. So even though it seems like bad things always happen to good people, bad things happen to everyone. You just have to know how to handle your situation. You also have to know not to stress about those bad things happening in your life. Everything will get better, so go out and be happy live your life to the fullest. When you think you are having a bad day turn it in to good day. SMILE it will only help you and maybe even help someone else.

Hello Powerful You,

Do not EVER be afraid to start over. Don’t ever be afraid to start over or start something new. If you want to go out and try something. TRY IT. Don’t ever be afraid because things aren’t always going to be the same. You are going to get older and you will go out in the real world and have to experience new things everyday. So don’t ever be afraid to try something new or start something over. Just go out and do it. Don’t let change define you. Show people you are confidence even if you are scared for the change things will get better because you can do anything you put your mind to.

YOU ARE WORTH IT.

Hello Powerful You,

Yesterday, I was on the phone with this Amazing women. She was telling me all about how she thought the meaning behind the name hello powerful you was that teenagers are camouflage. This made me think to myself that teenagers in today’s society really are faced with being unknown. I think that middle school and high school is met to help you find yourself. So today I am going to talk about how I found myself. In middle school that was me worried about if I was good enough, am I pretty, do I look okay? Throughout all of middle school I tried to fit into a group that was not meant for me. Going into my freshman year I realized that was not the group for me and even if it meant going into high school alone I needed to find out who I truly was. The reason I was able to find myself was because of the phenomenal support team I have my family, my boyfriend, and my best friend. I met my boyfriend, Chris, in 7th grade and he has done nothing but support me. He really helped me find who I was and helped me push myself to who I really want to become. One mistake I think I made was looking for friends who were not right for me. The first rule is really finding out who you want to be and what you want to do. What are you passionate about, then look for friends or relationships of people who have a common interest with those things. If people do not have similar passion as you they will not be able to push you to be the best that you can be. So finally I am in my freshman year of High School and I keep trying to find the right friends. So here I am going in and out of different groups trying to find the right friends only to realize that all these people were toxic. Every group of friends I had only wanted to talk about boys and parties when I wanted people to push me to become the best person I could. My sophomore year comes around I meet the most inspirational girl named Kelli. She honestly just wanted to know what I wanted and who I wanted to be. I realized that I met my best friend. Do not think that finding who I was, was my only struggle. I will tell you more of my struggles in my next post. So after my venting haha:) what i really want you to know is that you need to focus on finding who you are before you trying finding relationships or even friendships. If you have questions or you don’t think you have supporters please email me hellopowerfulyou@gmail.com

Hello Powerful You

Today in my English class my English teacher kept asking us
what is the theme of your life. For a while I sat there trying to
figure out what the theme of my life is what keeps happening
in my life that has made me the person I am today. Then it hit me
for the past 10 years of my life a few people in my family have died

You might be thinking wow that is a lot or that
is sad but to me it just showed me that I need to live everyday to
the fullest and always reach for the thing I want in life.
This made me realize that one morning I could wake up and I
could be dying or I could be really sick so I need to live my life to
the fullest and not take anything for granted. I do not want to wake up
and be dying one day and regret all the things I did not do. I want to
know that I did everything i could in  my life. I want to know that
i did everything I could i reached all the goals I wanted in my life.
So my tip for today is to live your life to fullest take everyday one
day at a time do everything you can. If you have a goal everyday do
something that will make you get closer to that goal. Realize that you
do not live forever and you need to get up and live your dreams.

YOU ARE WORTH IT.
